FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR BILL
Don’t see what you’re looking for? If you have questions concerning your bill, please call our billing department at (800) 255-8388.
Why am I receiving a bill from you?
Clinical Radiologists bills for the professional services performed by our radiologists which includes reading your image(s) such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and interventional care.
Why must a radiologist read my exam?
A radiologist is a specially trained physician that reads diagnostic imaging exams. Your facility has contracted with a radiology group to ensure you receive the highest standard of care.
Why wasn't this charge included on my hospital bill?
The hospital bills for the technical component of the exam which covers equipment and facility costs. Bills from Clinical Radiologists are for the professional (physician) component of the exam which covers the cost of the radiologist reading your diagnostic images or performing interventional services.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do offer monthly payment plans; this is reviewed on a case by case basis. In addition, we offer discounts for balances that are paid on a pre-arranged basis.
Why did I receive a bill after sending in payment?
Thank you for your payment. It may take up to two weeks to receive and process payments. If it has been longer than two weeks and you continue to receive bills, please contact customer service at (800) 255-8388.
Can I pay my bill online?
Yes, online bill pay is available via our website @ https://crscweb.com/pay-a-bill/
How can I find out my account balance?
Our billing service receives information regarding your insurance from the facility where your study was performed. Sometimes this information is incomplete or incorrect, perhaps because the wrong insurance card is presented at the location of service or employers change insurance carriers and sometimes clerical errors occur. When this happens, the billing service will correct the information as soon as it becomes available and will submit a new claim on your behalf.
The insurance already paid. Why do I still owe more?
It is commonly believed that insurance covers all payments for medical care, but rarely does that occur. At times insurance provides no coverage. When insurance does make a payment, it seldom covers 100% of the cost. Most policies require the policyholder to meet a specified out of pocket expense, also known as a deductible, before the policy makes any payments.
